Tomas Saraceno '14 Billions,' 2010
Tomas Saracenos use of complex line and structure to create form and shape appeals to me and draws me to his work. It is his large scale piece '14 Billions' that has inspired me the most as it seems to draw the viewer in and invite them to interact with it, this is something I am trying to explore with my own work.

Eva Hesse (Untitled), 1970
I am very interested in Eva Hesse' linear pieces and the way the materials she uses often dictates how the piece will hang or stand. I also find the colours and the organic arrangement of lines visually pleasing.

Jessica Stockholder 'Of Standing Float Roots In Thin Air,' 2006
It was Jessica Stockholders bold use of colour that led me to be more experimental with colour in my own work. The way she applies bright colour to take her sculpture towards a more abstract and surrealist route is captivating.

The effects of this sensory condition  led to research into how our senses and thoughts affect our sense of colour and shape. I focused particularly on memory and recollection.
